Saint Martin’s is committed to reclaiming a vision of the church as a vehicle of transformation for individuals, families, communities, and institutions that serve God’s intent of love and wholeness for all of creation. With our worship life at the center, we believe through deepening our connections with each other, improving our communications with intention and creativity, and caring for one another, Saint Martin’s will be known as a vibrant faith community at the edge of Chicago.

Our 21st-century culture makes it difficult for people who want to serve God. Racism, homophobia, materialism, addiction, domestic violence, child abuse, indifference, economic exploitation, and other evils get in the way of our relationship with God and lead us to diminish ourselves and those around us. At St. Martin’s, we are committed to traveling together, helping one another to know God’s love, and to bring God’s love to others.
