Matt has been in ministry for nine years, first serving as a youth leader and residential discipleship coordinator for college students at the church he attended in Naperville. While at Wheaton, he served as a student chaplain, offering spiritual and pastoral care to his peers. He studied theology and graduated in 2013.  He now serves as the Assistant Director of the Office of Christian Outreach where he oversees domestic and international internships for Wheaton students.  Matt is an activist/organizer, writer, and husband. Dominique and Matt got married in May and have lived in Oak Park since then.
