THE PRAYER BREAKFAST IS COMING BACK TO SAINT MARTIN’S CHURCH

After two years on Zoom, Saint Martin’s is excited to bring the Prayer Breakfast back to Saint Martin’s church. Join us on Saturday, May 6 at 10:00 am as we come together, pray together, praise together, dance together, and enjoy breakfast and some good ol’ fellowshipping as only Saint Martin’s can do it.

This year our keynote speaker is Reverend Sandra Castillo. Reverend Castillo has had an amazing journey, particularly in the fight for social justice. She organized the Diocese of Chicago Sanctuary Task Force and served as a staff attorney in the Office of Inspector General for the Chicago Board of Education.

She was a member of Episcopal Relief and Development’s board of directors, collaborated on the Episcopal Church’s 2009 Strategic Vision for Reaching Latinos and Hispanics, and served as a committee member of the Hispanic Scholarship Trust Fund. Those are just a few of her many accomplishments.

Besides that, Reverend Sandra Castillo has raised four children and knows her way around a garden.
